Mr. Powell has nearly ten years of progressively responsible experience involving Property and Casualty insurers, Title underwriters, financial analysis and business consulting. He has previous work experience as an accountant and auditor in the not-for-profit and government sectors.

He possesses extensive experience in monitoring, reviewing and assessing the financial stability of insurers.

Since joining Demotech, Mr. Powell has been actively engaged in the Property and Casualty and Title insurance industries. Demotech produces many articles and studies throughout the year. Mr. Powell is instrumental in providing research, analysis and insight for these endeavors.

Mr. Powell also acts as a liaison on behalf of Demotech and its clients in correspondence with various government agencies, insurance industry associations, insureds and the media.
